SERMONS
Take Off Your Shoes
And then: have your shoes on, ready to walk to liberation, as the Israelites were told to do as they awaited their deliverance from slavery. For freedom is coming. New life is coming. Easter is coming!
Sermon 4/1/21: "Extravagant Love" Pr. Michelle Sevig
This is a new commandment, that you shower others with love in the same way that I love you, without boundaries, without expectation for reward or gratitude, even sometimes without receiving love in return. Just love others in delightful, surprising, playful, extravagant ways as I have loved you.
Sermon 4/9/2020: Love to the End (Pr. Craig Mueller)
Jesus loved this disciples to the end. Jesus loves us to the end. And calls us to follow his example of servanthood. Whether or not we wash feet ritually, we recommit ourselves to honoring and caring for bodies—our own and those of others, especially those most vulnerable. For in such acts of love and service, Easter already dawns.
