Funeral of Leon Stevens (August 18, 1955 - May 12, 2022)

Leon Stevens has been a part of the Holy Trinity community for 20+ years. He lived in California for a few years where he met his husband Kevin. Since their return to Jolliet, Illinois the two have made the long journey each Sunday to be present in worship and with the people Leon has considered family for much of his life.

May God comfort all who grieve the loss of Leon even as we give thanks for the many gifts he shared with us.

The memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lakeview (1218 W. Addison St) on Saturday, June 18 at 10:30 a.m. Internment will be at Holy Trinity in the garden immediate following the liturgy. Picnic lunch to follow.
