Lutheran congregations support a variety of ministries and organizations welcoming and assisting immigrants and refugees in the U.S., and one of the largest is Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS). At this session on May 1, Scott Kuhagen will share more about what LIRS does and about its recent work in welcoming some of the approximately 76,000 refugees evacuated from Afghanistan.
