Beginning with the theme of hospitality in the scriptures we will consider how Benedictines welcomes strangers as Christ, and then pivot to ways that congregations welcome newcomers and seekers. How effective are welcoming statements? How can our liturgies be more hospitable and accessible to those not familiar with our traditions? And in a time of polarization and division, is it possible for an ultra-conservative person to feel welcome in our rather progressive urban faith communities? Leader: Pr.
