Known for its masterful presentations of some of the most beloved choral repertoire, The Apollo Chorus will present the Passion According to St. John, one of Bach’s highest achievements. The choruses, arias, recitative, and beloved chorales of this masterwork tell the story of Jesus’s arrest, suffering, and death with incomparable drama and beauty.

Apollo was about to perform the St. John Passion in 2020 when everything got cancelled. At Holy Trinity, we had a cool fellowship hour in the weeks beforehand to learn more about the Passion and its history for Lutherans.

Now they’re scheduled to perform it back at St. Luke's on March 13.
