This year each KNO's activities and food will feature a different country throughout the world. Last month the kids traveled to Mexico, using their passports to board a make-believe airplane from O'Hare and when they landed all the signs were in Spanish. They learned to count in Spanish, played fotball and enjoyed some Mexican food for dinner.
This month, on February 18, the kids will travel to Burkina Faso, in West Africa where the official language is French. Annika will teach them some French phrases and they'll experiment with African drumming.
